Position: Security Guard

Job Description:

As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises, assets, and personnel. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter unauthorized entry, and respond to security breaches and emergencies. Key duties and responsibilities include:

1. Surveillance and Monitoring:

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to maintain visibility and deter criminal activity.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond to suspicious behavior or security breaches.
• Report any incidents, accidents, or unusual occurrences promptly to the appropriate authorities.

2. Access Control:

• Control access to the premises by verifying identification and ensuring only authorized individuals enter the facility.
• Issue visitor passes and maintain visitor logs to track the entry and exit of guests and contractors.
• Enforce access control procedures and challenge unauthorized persons as necessary.

3. Emergency Response:

• Respond promptly to emergencies such as fires, medical incidents, or security threats.
• Take appropriate action to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of occupants and property.
• Follow established protocols for evacuations and emergency procedures.

4. Customer Service:

• Provide courteous and professional assistance to clients, employees, and visitors.
• Address inquiries and concerns in a timely and respectful manner.
• Maintain a positive and approachable demeanor while upholding security standards.

5. Reporting and Documentation:

• Complete accurate and detailed incident reports documenting security-related activities.
• Maintain daily activity logs and submit reports to supervisors as required.
• Keep thorough records of equipment inspections, maintenance, and inventory.

Requirements:

Education: Minimum 8th grade education to graduate level.

Experience: No prior experience required. We welcome individuals with diverse backgrounds and skill sets.

Age: Applicants must be between 18 years to 60 years old.

Gender: Both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with people from various backgrounds.
• Good physical condition with the ability to stand, walk, and perform patrols for extended periods.
