Position: Security Officer

Job Description:

As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our premises, assets, and personnel. Your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Surveillance and Monitoring: Maintain vigilant surveillance of assigned areas through regular patrols, CCTV monitoring, and alarm systems to detect and deter any unauthorized activities or security breaches.
2. Access Control: Control access to the premises by verifying identification, conducting bag checks, and ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors are allowed entry.
3. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or security threats, and take appropriate action to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of individuals and property.
4. Incident Reporting: Document any security incidents, disturbances, or irregularities observed during patrols or through surveillance footage, and report them to the appropriate authorities or supervisors as per established protocols.
5. Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional assistance to employees, visitors, and clients by answering inquiries, providing directions, and offering support as needed, while upholding the highest standards of customer service.
6. Conflict Resolution: Handle conflicts or confrontations calmly and diplomatically, employing de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution skills to defuse tense situations and maintain a peaceful environment.
7. Security Procedures: Enforce security policies and procedures consistently to ensure compliance and enhance the overall security posture of the premises, including enforcing parking regulations and securing sensitive areas.
8. Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with fellow security officers, law enforcement personnel, and other stakeholders to coordinate security efforts, share relevant information, and respond collectively to security challenges.

Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum 8th-grade education up to graduation.
• Experience: Prior experience is not required; however, relevant experience in security, law enforcement, or military service would be advantageous.
• Age: Applicants must be between 18 to 60 years old.
• Gender: Open to applicants of all genders.
• Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and capable of performing patrol duties, standing for extended periods, and responding swiftly to emergencies.
