Job Description:

As a home tutor, your primary responsibility will be to provide personalized academic support to students according to their learning needs and curriculum requirements. You will create a conducive learning environment that fosters growth, confidence, and a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions based on students' learning goals and areas of improvement.
2. Develop customized lesson plans and teaching materials to suit individual student needs and learning styles.
3. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust teaching methods as necessary to ensure understanding and mastery of subjects.
4. Encourage and motivate students to actively engage in the learning process, ask questions, and develop critical thinking skills.
5. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to discuss student progress, challenges, and achievements.
6. Stay updated with the latest educational trends, teaching techniques, and curriculum changes to enhance teaching effectiveness.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or related field.
2. D.Ed, D.El.Ed, D.P.Ed, B.Ed, B.El.Ed, B.P.Ed, M.Ed, M.P.Ed qualifications are highly desirable.
3. Minimum of 1 year of teaching/tutoring experience, preferably in a home tutoring setting.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching and mentoring students.
6. Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs.
