Job Security Guard

Position Overview:

As a Security Guard, your primary responsibility will be to maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. You will be tasked with patrolling designated areas, monitoring surveillance equipment, and responding to security breaches or emergencies. This role requires individuals who are observant, detail-oriented, and capable of making quick decisions when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patrol and Monitor: Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to ensure the security of premises. Utilize surveillance equipment such as cameras and alarms to monitor activities and identify potential security threats.
2. Enforce Regulations: Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas. Take appropriate action against individuals found in violation of security regulations.
3. Respond to Emergencies: Act swiftly and decisively in response to security breaches, emergencies, or alarms. Follow established protocols to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of personnel and assets.
4. Report Incidents: Document all incidents, accidents, or suspicious activities in detailed reports. Provide accurate and timely information to supervisors and law enforcement as necessary.
5. Customer Service: Interact with clients, employees, and visitors professionally and courteously. Provide assistance and guidance as needed to ensure a positive experience for all individuals within the premises.
6. Maintain Vigilance: Remain alert and attentive to potential security threats at all times. Proactively identify and address any vulnerabilities or weaknesses in security measures.
7. Collaborate with Team: Work collaboratively with other security personnel and relevant stakeholders to coordinate efforts and achieve common security objectives.

Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum 8th grade education required; higher education qualifications are also accepted.
• Experience: No prior experience in security is required; however, relevant experience will be considered an asset.
• Age: Individuals between 18 to 60 years old are eligible to apply.
• Gender: Both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to stand, walk, and/or patrol for extended periods. Good physical health is essential for this role.
• Communication Skills: Basic proficiency in local language(s) and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals.
• Legal Compliance: Must have a clean criminal record and be legally eligible to work in the respective areas.
