Job Security Guard

Job Description:

As a Security Guard, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. You will be entrusted with maintaining a vigilant presence, deterring unauthorized access, and responding promptly to any security breaches or emergencies that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Surveillance and Monitoring: Maintain constant vigilance over assigned areas through regular patrols, CCTV monitoring, and observation, promptly identifying and addressing any suspicious activity or safety hazards.
2. Access Control: Control access to the premises by verifying identification, ensuring only authorized individuals enter, and issuing visitor badges as necessary. Enforce security protocols and procedures to prevent unauthorized entry or exit.
3. Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or security breaches. Take appropriate action to mitigate risks, evacuate premises if necessary, and assist emergency responders as required.
4. Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional assistance to employees, visitors, and customers. Address inquiries, provide directions, and offer support as needed while upholding a friendly and approachable demeanor.
5. Patrol and Inspection: Conduct regular patrols of the premises, both indoors and outdoors, to detect and deter potential security threats. Inspect doors, windows, and other access points to ensure they are secure, reporting any issues or irregularities to the appropriate authorities.
6. Report Writing: Maintain accurate and detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations. Write clear and concise reports documenting security-related incidents, including descriptions of individuals involved, actions taken, and any damages or losses incurred.
7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other security personnel, as well as with management and law enforcement agencies, to coordinate security efforts and ensure a cohesive approach to maintaining safety and security.

Requirements:

• Education: Minimum 8th-grade education to a graduate degree.
• Experience: No prior experience is required; training will be provided.
• Age: Must be between 18 to 60 years old.
• Gender: Both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, as well as lift and carry objects weighing up to a certain limit.
• Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills in the local language(s) are preferred.
• Legal Compliance: Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and security protocols is desirable.
• Integrity: Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and trustworthiness in all duties and interactions.
