Job Title: Home Tutor

Education: Graduate and D.Ed, D.El.Ed, D.P.Ed, B.Ed, B.El.Ed, B.P.Ed, M.Ed, M.P.Ed, or any equivalent qualification.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience preferred but not mandatory.

Age: 18 years to 60 years

Gender: Male and female candidates are encouraged to apply.

As a home tutor, your responsibilities will include:

1. Lesson Planning: Designing and developing lesson plans based on the specific needs and learning objectives of each student.

2. Personalized Instruction: Providing individualized attention and support to students to help them grasp concepts, improve their understanding, and achieve academic goals.

3. Subject Expertise: Teaching one or more subjects from the school curriculum, including but not limited to Mathematics, Science, English, Social Studies, and Languages.

4. Progress Monitoring: Assessing students' progress regularly through tests, quizzes, and assignments, and providing feedback to students and parents/guardians.

5. Communication: Maintaining open and clear communication with parents/guardians regarding students' performance, areas of improvement, and overall progress.

6. Motivation and Engagement: Creating a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning among students.

7. Flexibility: Adapting teaching strategies and approaches based on students' learning styles, strengths, and weaknesses.

8. Time Management: Managing teaching schedules effectively and ensuring punctuality and regularity in sessions.

Qualifications:

• Graduation in any discipline.
• A teaching certification such as D.Ed, D.El.Ed, D.P.Ed, B.Ed, B.El.Ed, B.P.Ed, M.Ed, M.P.Ed, or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
• Prior teaching experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
